The importance of creativity
Making your creative vision a reality (under pressure)
Jim has been in business going on 11 years in central Indiana. He has spoken and taught at the PUSH Conference in 2015 and 2016 along with hosting local shoots. He has found a way to help simplify location lighting and loves inspiring Photographers to elevate to their next level. He’s a father, Photographer, drummer, mexican food lover, MAC user and spontaneous dancer.
Elysia has been in business for over 8 years in southern Illinois as a Photographer, however she’s been an artist since she was old enough to put a pencil to paper. She comes from a family of artists and loves collaborating with clients to create unique portraits. She grew her business extremely fast with her contagious personality and has a special way of connecting with her clients. She’s also a mommy, an encourager, a designer, an artist, and being with family.
Together: We’ve been in business for over 17 years. We are the heart and soul of our brand and have both been full time Photographers for over 5 years. We are nationally published and we LOVE to create and inspire. We have four children combined, 3 girls and 1 boy and we have a blast when we are all together. We absolutely LOVE polaroids and they play a huge part in our lives. You will find them all over our house and office.
In today’s market you need more than a business card and a website. You have to stand out, grab attention and keep it. That goes for venues as well as your couple. Jim & Elysia will talk about their marketing strategy, unique ways of standing out in a busy market and good ol’ face to face networking.
CREATIVITY AND VISION
Having creative vision going into a wedding day, or any shoot you commision, is increasingly important. We will discuss our approach to a wedding day from start to finish. How to make your creative vision a reality, even with less than ideal lighting situations and ideas to really get your clients talking.
Bring your cameras and questions. We will all be shooting after the presentation to help show you our approach.
